Jay Harkrider co-founded Foxen in 2019,a leading provider of insurance compliance solutions and financial services to property owners, managers, and their residents. As of 2023 FYE, Foxen administered its program to approximately 700,000 units with nationwide presence. He currently serves as Foxen’s CEO and is a member of its board of directors.

Prior to Foxen,Mr. Harkrider co-founded Coastal Ridge in 2013, a real estate investment firm specializing in the property management, investment, and development of multifamily real estate. As of 2023 FYE, Coastal Ridge managed approximately 40,000 units + student beds in excess of $5 billion in assets under management. Mr Harkrider served as the company’s President until stepping down to lead Foxen in 2019. Today he is an active member of its board of directors.

Prior to Coastal Ridge, Mr. Harkrider co-founded Peak Property Group in 2009, a real estate investment firm specializing in property management and investment of scattered site real estate. As of 2023 FYE, Peak Property Group managed approximately 2,000 units primarily made up of single family homes, duplexes and four unit buildings. Mr. Harkrider served as Managing Partner until stepping down to lead Coastal Ridge in 2013.  Today he is an active member of its board of directors.

Mr. Harkrider holds degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Me maintains involvement in various charitable organizations and has been an active speaker at The Ohio State University and Miami University. He resides in Santa Barbara, California with his wife and two young children.
